Jacob starts preschool for the first time tomorrow. We went to an open house tonight and as we were driving there he says, "Mom, can you just drop me off and then go back to the car. I just want to go in by myself." WHAT! I thought kids didn't say this until they were at least half way through elementary school!
Honestly, it didn't make me sad, but did make me laugh! Jacob is most certainly our confident, independent child and so it will be fun to see him enjoy preschool this year.
Ryan's reply was, "We should start saving for his out-of-state college tuition now!"
