Potty Training

Well, as most of you know we successfully UNtrained Zac regarding the potty when he arrived home in May. Since then whenever we ask if he wants to use the potty he gets excited and does it well and yet we still haven't taken the diapers off to see if he can initiate a pee or poop and keep the underwear dry. That was until this week. I don't know what prompted us to give him underwear but when he saw them his face lit up and he was very content to be a "big boy" and wear his underwear. He went his first two days in underwear without an accident. Today we had two accidents, but it's obvious that he is ready, willing and able to be potty/poopy trained. That was easy....thank you Baby Home #1 in Russia for making that the easiest potty training ever (besides my mom potty training Hallie!).

Isn't it nice when it is easy. Our son wasn't interested until the age of 3, but he learned over a couple of days. Both days and nights all at once.

Our daughter does well during the day, but we are still having some accidents at night. We will be glad once those are over!

Congrats!!

Great! I think we will begin trying with Dima in January. 2.5 seems like a good age. We do have cool fundy undies for him for when we do start. Hopefully that will sweeten the deal for him.
