It's funny how this all works out

I am continually amazed at the number of connections that Katie and I are forming as a result of our adoptions. It seems like daily we meet people who in some way shape or form have a tie with adoption. We may meet someone who has adopted. Perhaps someone who IS adopted. We've met a handful of people who speak Russian fluently. (That's a helpful one.) Two days ago we were at Hobby Lobby and we met someone who just adopted a little girl from Guatemala. They brought her home the week of Christmas and we're very happy and excited with their growing family. Maybe I was clueless before, but it seems that adoption is taking over the world! (And, of course, this is a GOOD thing).
