1 day down

Alright.... sweet..... we made it the first day.

Only 145 days left.

(Don't worry, I'm not going to do this every day)

Mmmmm.... 145 doesn't seem like such a big number -- especially when in 2 hours 13 minutes and 4 seconds it will already be just 144. I admire your attitude -- keeping things positive and planning to enjoy the next 5 months - and then repacking for a spring (late winter?)trip to Russia. N

Thank goodness you will have Christmas, New Year, and delighting in the Lord to keep you busy and satisfied in your spirits until at last you can go to your son.

Oh, Katie,

I just caught up on your posts and I am so sorry to hear what has happened. Keep up your great attitude. It will help things move along so much faster and more easily. I know it won't be easy, but I pray God gives you peace as you wait. He will bring Zac into your arms again at just the right time.

I'm glad to hear you got to see new pictures of Zac and he's doing well. It's funny how some orphanages let the children's hair grow while others shave it off completely! Owen is finally getting close to needing a haircut :)

As Alicia said, enjoy your many holidays between now and February--it's good you will be busy!

I think the positive way you have decided to handle this situation speaks volumes to the Faith you have and show to others. We pray that Zac finds his home with you, however we also understand the chance that he will indeed find a home. There is comfort in just knowing and having an answer. We will wait and pray with you. Love, Aunt Anica and Uncle Jeff

Doesn't that seem like the way this process goes? Day by day. Hang in there :)
