Happy Halloween

Just wanted to wish everyone a safe and fun-filled Halloween. Tomorrow night we will have Peter Pan and Tinkerbell at our house. We plan on doing some trick or treating and then attend the "Trunk and Treat" event at our church with the kids. It should be a fun night. In preparation we carved pumpkins tonight. Jacob opted for a scary face and Hallie wanted a happy face. Here's what we came up with.

My, that is a menacing scowl. Wouldn't wanna cross him at night in a dark alley! We are going to Grandma's for french bread pizza and fun with cousins. We are wimps and it is too cold for in and out of car all night. We've never done trick or treating with the girls and so they don't know they are missing anything. We are still working on slowly getting rid of parade candy from this summer too!

Hi,
I've been a 'lurker' on your site for awhile. I found it via another IA site.

Keep thinking positive thoughts!

So what's with Jake's smile? I can only hope he is trying to mimic his jack o'lantern. If not, you really need to try something different next Halloween! Grammy

Great jack-o-lanterns. Great family. Happy Halloween to the Horners! N

We were catching up on your blog tonight and watched your recent videos. Austin, really wants to see a video of you carving the pumpkins! :) The still pictures just don't cut it for him :)

He looks like my son Caleb when he was that age. This year my son opted to sit on our refridge and watch from a safe distance.

On the other hand, your daughter looks very happy!

The kids looked adorable in their costumes. I hope they had a great halloween. The last picture of Jacob's face is priceless!
