We're here

We're in Novokuznetsk! Today has finally arrived. We're headed to the baby home in 10 minutes! We're going to see Zac!

I actually typed up this nice blog post on the plane and saved it as a Word doc to load onto the "computer lab" computer that they have here. But time won't allow me to do all that is necessary.

The gist is this: Zac, today is April 21st, 2008. Today is the last day that you'll ever be considered an orphan. The nightmare is over. It's time for you to come home.

O.K You are safe...and made me cry! Zaccie is not an orphan and never has been. God just took a little longer to get him to Nebraska. Hallie and Jake are great. Perhaps a bit tired. We have worked so hard to keep them from any television, that they are worn out. Except tonight, we let them watch Jukebox Journey. Jake keeps doing those strange headstands. Nothing broken. Talk soon!

You are on your way to see Zac and you expect me not to check the blog every hour? Impossible. I am waiting to hear about your visit (and maybe see some photos?) What an amazing day this must be for you. G and G did a super job and delivered Hallie and Jake to your doorstep -- after stories and prayers for Zac, they are off into dreamland (we hope) and we are happy to be here with them. Watching for more news from Novo. Love, N

Words cannot express how happy I am for you. Watching this journey has been truly inspiring to me - you are the epitome of perseverance and trusting in the Lord; your journey through this "wilderness" of wait time is about to pay off in a big way! I love you all and am so thankful that I have your family in my life. This means more to me than you will ever know.

Wow - what an amazing day today must have been! By now you have held Zac in you arms again! You have so many adventures ahead. Today Austin flew a kite for the first time, and I think of all the amazing firsts Zac is about to experience! I doesn't matter if he was excited or reserved today, he will soon learn what incredible parents he has. We continue to pray.
With love,
Angie, Joe and Austin
